ACMP PORTFOLIOS

Through the Membership portfolio, the ACMP South Africa Chapter aims to enable Change Management Practitioners to leverage the world’s change management practices and learnings. It is the aim of this portfolio to enable the success of all the ACMP Members by providing access to insightful resources, exciting opportunities, and relevant events to build the practice and body of knowledge across the discipline. Through knowledge sharing and community building, this portfolio directly contributes to building the capability to lead change effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Through the Membership portfolio, the ACMP South Africa Chapter aims to enable Change Management Practitioners to leverage the world’s change management practices and learnings. Through knowledge sharing and community building, this portfolio directly contributes to building the capability to lead change effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the Chapter, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial matters. This role includes overseeing the Chapter’s financial operations, keeping the Board informed of ACMP Southern African Chapter’s financial position, and approving contracts or transactions in line with policies

Communication and Marketing play a vital role in enabling change success, and this portfolio is no different in the ACMP. Through the efforts of the Communications and Marketing Portfolio the ACMP can delivery on it’s promise to provide an engaged and ever-growing body of knowledge for its members and participants to leverage in ensuring their change success. From providing and attracting impactful and insightful keynote speakers, to building awareness on the value of the practice, the communications and marketing portfolio forms an integral part of a connected professional community ensuring an ever-green and current approach to managing change.

“No man is an Island” and for the ACMP, the Partnership Portfolio ensures that the ACMP and it’s members do not operate in isolation drawing from the key learnings and practices from partner disciplines that directly contribute to successful change. Through the Partnership Portfolio, the ACMP achieves key partnerships to integrate learnings and practices from disciplines that directly contribute to enabling change success such as coaching and leadership. This portfolio ensures that the ACMP directly supports its members with tools and knowledge base that draws on practices and disciplines the build change success through lasting and meaningful partnerships.

Through the Professional Development Portfolio we will strive to intentionally support the maintenance and development of the knowledge and skills needed to perform as a change professional. This includes honing current skills, developing them to a new level, and learning new ones that will allow a change professional to expand or prepare them for potential job promotion and new opportunities/challenges.

The primary purpose of the ACMP SA Professional Development is to:

  • Enhance the ongoing professional development of our members within the Global ACMP context (Professional Development QEP Certification CCMP, and comply with the Global Standard.
  • Encourage and recognise individualised learning and application of change related knowledge.
  • Promote the standardised and objective mechanism for obtaining and recording professional development activities (as per ACMP Global – CCMP credentials.
  • Indicate to employers the certificant’s right to use the CCMP credential and that they remain relevant and current in their knowledge of change management practices.

The core of the mission of the ACMP is to directly support its members with the knowledge base and tools to succeed and achieving results. The Events and Conferencing Portfolio of the ACMP South Africa Chapter plays a core role in enabling this through its knowledge sharing events and conferences. From arranging keynote speakers to building lasting experiences in our events and conferences, this portfolio ensures the members of the ACMP can leverage the worlds’ leading knowledge base and learnings across the industry.
